What IS iRP?

Initiative Roleplay is a meld of nerds, gamers, and friendships all wrapped up into a d20 with all of the love in the world put into it. One of the things that really stand out here, is our custom framework, developed by our very own absolutely STELLAR developer.

We are a small team who are striving to make the best place to call home we possibly can. We bring you community, open-mindedness and genuine concern and care when discussing suggestions or otherwise important details of how YOU want to roleplay your characters! Whether it be a business venture, a location for that business, or simply adding a small item that puts you into immersive experience in our server.

We strive to make our server all inclusive and we are LGBTQIA+ friendly. (Tbh we do be gay ngl). We promise to do everything we can to make your city and environment friendly and comfortable.

We will be opening up our server in 6 days time, on August 26th, 2023 and we are SO excited to finally be able to show off ALL of our goodies to everyone!

iRP Patch Notes - Edition 1

[CHARACTER CREATION]

  • You may now hide your perfectly sculpted face under a mask.
  • You should now be able to dream up an entire new life without being so hard focused on another.
    (For some reason you couldn’t make a new character when ‘dreaming’ without it being overridden by whoever you dreamed on.)

[VEHICLES]

  • Seatbelts are now only available in cars.
  • You’ll have to take off your seatbelt before stepping out.
  • Cruise Control works again!

[SPECIFIC CAR ADJUSTMENTS]
Jester:

  • Drive force nerfed.
    (The acceleration of this vehicle was a little too high, we’ll keep an eye out for it in the future, let us know!)
  • Brakes Improved.
  • Curve Traction improved.
    These adjustments have placed the Jester in B Class.

Draugur:

  • Drive force a little nerfed.
    (The acceleration of the Draugur was a liiittle too high, please keep me posted about how it feels!)
  • Brakes improved.

ESS Vehicles:

  • No longer hindered by small pesky bushes.

[EMOTES]

  • You can now hug like you used to.
    (/e hug and /e hug2 are now functional. One goes high, one goes low!)
  • You no longer have to decide between feeling Default or Generic.
    (Default Female/Male Walks and Generic Female/Male Walks were the same, just listed separately for some reason, so Generic was removed for simplicities sake!)

[SHOPS]

  • Tasers are now sold with a full clip!
    (Was previously being sold at 3 for some reason. Now is properly 5!)

[TATTOOS]

  • Fixed one label in right arm catalogue.
    (A rogue space was forcing a tattoo to be labeled as NULL.)

[UPD]

  • Officially locked down the armoury.
    (You must be on duty or a member of a branch of UPD in order to make purchases. The man previously in charge, Paul, was fired.)
  • No longer need to be in a club to access the fridge. Just be on duty!
  • BCSO now has a helipad garage.

[CRIM THINGS]

  • The Boss received a call for an urgent work meeting out of town.
    (Due to issues with Boss Missions, it has been temporarily disabled. We will provide an update when the issue is resolved!)
  • Meth has been compromised.
    (Due to a ‘security breach’ the meth man has had to change some things up.)

[CRAFTING]

  • Magazines just aren’t made how they used to.
    (The amount of nudie mags needed to make paper has been increased.)

[CIV JOBS]

  • Locals seem to be increasing their recycling rates instead of throwing things in the garbage.
    (Crafting material drops have been decreased just a hair in Garbage Collection.)
  • Collecting your materials when washing rocks or refining lumber, you’ll only count them one time.
    (Secondary alert on left removed!)

[COOKING]

  • Fixed future confusion between Raw and Cooked Bacon
  • Two new recipes added!

[SHOPS]

  • Addressed an issue where the amount of hunger/thirst that a food/drink would give you was only displaying as +1% for everything. It should now be easier to distinguish what food/drink you’d prefer to buy :smiley:

[LOCAL EMS]

  • Local EMS has gotten their AirOne heli repaired
    (If you go completely down, you can now respawn with no issues!)
  • You only die once.
    (That’s it. That’s the note. There should no longer be a risk of ‘double dying’ and life being made difficult to get you out of a car!)

[CRIM WORK]

  • The Boss wrapped up that urgent work meeting and is back in town.
    (Boss Missions have been fixed and re-enabled! If you spot any issues, please let us know!)
  • There was an error in that software you earned, but it’s been fixed now.
  • If you thought it was too easy to go on a trial, next time the judge will be a little harsher ;p

[ILLEGAL CRAFTING]

  • Item and recipe adjusted. It’ll be noticable C:

[CARS]

  • Mesa speeds adjusted.
    (Vehicle was topping almost 200 over bumps, time to bring her back down to earth!)
  • Can no longer control your cars mid flight. Gotta pre-plan those landings!

[UPD]

  • The bench has been fixed. Paul HAD been rehired, but he was re-fired and charged for the repairs.

[DRUGS]

  • Drugs were too potent and would send you straight to Pillbox, no passing go, no collecting $200.

[PDM]

  • Test Drive stickers now inform you that deposits will refund.

[CARS]

  • Flash GT now responds better in general!
  • Crown Vic is a little lighter on the Earth.

[CARS]

  • During a sting op, the FIB found that some PDM vehicles contained weaponry. The vehicles in question were seized and replaced with vehicles with no weapons.

[UPD LIVERIES]

  • Paul tried to pull a cruel prank on Wolf by having the livery for her Taurus say SAPR instead of SASP. The situation has been remedied.

[CARS]

  • Your vehicles now have a nifty on/off toggle for your neons!

[SHOPS]

  • Koi remembered that their customers need to drink and now offer Sakura Tea and Water.

[CRIMS]

  • The Boss was having some memory troubles but will now tell you what you’re doing instead of just telling you to go.

[CARS]

  • Make sure you buckle your seatbelts tightly and drive safely!
    (For some unknown reason, cars were not ejecting you from the vehicle at high speeds when you don’t wear your seatbelt. That’s been fixed!)

[PINK CAGE]

  • Storages are no longer unending ‘bags of holding’.
    (Some crazy magic made it so that the storages in Pink Cage were offering unlimited storage which was not intentional and has been adjusted accordingly.)

[CARS - GENERAL]

  • Somehow Paul was in cahoots with the seatbelt sabotage. He has been apprehended and seatbelts have been fixed!
  • There’s a button to go fast for those who want to now.

[CARS - SPECIFICS]

  • Euros no longer rolls over on command, remembering in a sudden turn of identity crisis, that it is indeed a car and not a dog.

[BENNYS]

  • Certain upgrades that were listed in the catalogue are beyond our mechanics capabilities due to the tools needed being heavily gated by the manufactures so they have been removed.

[PDM]

  • Certain colours were erroring in the system when attempting to purchase/finance a vehicle. This should now be remedied with PDMs systems being updated!

[DRUGS]

  • Cocaine is no longer cut with something that will put you in Pillbox. Yikes!

[EMOTES]

  • If you liked to stand ‘at rest’ before, you can now walk about and silently judge people while doing so!

[CAR SPECIFIC]

  • Massacro and Stratum have received a little more love.
  • Taurus thought it was a supercar and is a lot less super.
  • Charger thought it was something other than a muscle and should now act more appropriately.

[AUTO SHOPS]

  • Costs of cosmetic changes have been decreased.

[BENNYS]

  • Customizable purge sprays are here! Ask a mechanic about it!

[CARS]

  • The Coil company issued a recall on all Brawler vehicles in regards to their brakes. All brakes have been replaced on the house.

[UPD]

  • New car type available for purchase!
  • PD Charger has been re-reminded to stop moonwalking.

[GARAGES]

  • Benny’s garage has been moved to Velocity Motorworks on Popular Street. If you had a vehicle parked at Benny’s previously, it is now there! Velocity Motorworks has been charged accordingly :slight_smile:

[BENNY’S]

  • If you need to change liveries or do cosmetic changes, the Benny’s location has been merged into the LS Customs family so you can do so!

[HOUSING]

  • Brand new housing system has been implemented! You’ll notice the changes near immediately!

[MENUS]

  • With the new menus used in various places, if you right click within the menu you can go back (or use backspace/esc!) and if you right click outside of the menu, you can walk around!

  • One of the Merryweather mule trucks somehow got mixed into a delivery of normal work trucks at the tailor job and has been sent back to Merryweather.

[CARRY]

  • New carry/escort system! You can now peek players to carry/escort them. Options are also available in F1!
  • You can peek to seat a player in a car and peek hospital beds to get them treatment!
  • You can carry/escort people into your residences! NOTE: NOT GARAGES (yet)

[CARS]

  • Vehicles should no longer be airplanes (but they might do something else).

[WAKING UP]

  • Sometimes we need a morning shower to feel refreshed!
