If i have deleted everything from my files regarding Five M, would that mean my characters are also now gone as well?

Yah, i had to delete fivem once and reinstall and shit, i was scared shitless of the same thing becauase i had put over 400 hours into a city prior to it happening and didnt wanna lose it all. All your characters save data will be in the cities data base not yours, all your fivem client is for is to connect and and its the mod itself. nothing with characters, cars, or sorts will be effected!

Yeah, that is all server side data. If a server was to get deleted or wipe. Then sadly you’d have no characters, but in this case you are all good.
