Ive downloaded 5m on new computer abd evertime i open it, it takes me to a document file and says go to your game directory and open gta 5 exe to launch but i cant find a gta 5 exe.

Use that window to navigate to where your GTA5 exe is installed, and “Open” the exe. Basic Windows usage is not something anyone can help you with on the forums here.
