I’m working on a hud for ox_core and I was looking at how to design it, so I thought I would ask the community. When you are playing, do you prefer your hud ui components (health, armor, etc.) to be bars or circles?
I’m going to try both, but I was having a hard time deciding which one to stick with.
I have to agree, I like the “native” bar HUD with the minimap. There have been very few that tried to follow the design. Adding various bars under the health and armor or maybe additional ones above the minimap would be simple enough. The issue would be making sure that it doesn’t become too cluttered and busy.
I think the circle can be nice if done right, but I’ve seen so many circle HUDs lately it’s made me think about how I want to make this one. Maybe a combination of both would be neat. Like having the speedometer arcing over the fuel bar and vehicle health bar?
