Not exactly sure what I’m doing wrong here? I’ve followed the instructions to a tee and tried via cmd as well as powershell. The build directory is compiled with the files inside, however when I try to add the resource, all the peds are invisible except there head? I’ve got the $15 patreon as well.
This happens no matter what clothing add on I try including the ones in the original post.

So in doing this method, there is something that is off with sizing and positioning of the clothes and ped. It is not evident in most cases, but it is definitely obvious with female shoes. If using ESX, the female shoes that were originally at slot 77 that now end up being at 261 after using this method of adding new clothes and props are squished and really do not look right. Other female shoes raise the player off of the ground and make them float… others have dramatically elongated feet that make their shoes look like clown shoes.
I don’t know if this can be fixed…but if it can be accounted for GTAUTIL will hopefully at some point update to resolve it. I am guessing there is sizing and positioning being done elsewhere that it is not taking into account when performing a build.

Other issues have arisen. I added some custom head models for females… they seem to be downloading, but they never do display in-game. The filenames mentioned in the console seem to be incorrect compared to what is being downloaded.
This face should be custom, but it is one of the earlier ones repeated:

You can see that it is downloading new faces when I select one:

Upon finishing, it does not update and display the downloaded model. In the console I see the following output:

This seems incorrect as the corresponding filename is: mp_f_freemode_01^head_047_u.ydd
Any clues here? If the filenames are incorrect (I am going to verify by looking at pieces that I know work to see what filenames are used for those) would this be a CFX/Fivem issue?
EDIT:
I just checked filenames of a working piece, and they seem to be truncated at the same location in the filename. I think that is just a display issue in the console. So what needs to be done after downloading a custom head to a player to make the engine update and display it? I tried shifting into a freemode ped and back into the multiplayer female to no avail.

You cannot have the game open when running these commands
My problem was something else entirely but when I ran the project to build I had game open and it would refuse to get the DLC data.
On the upside I was able to transition EUP from their mod to addon clothing in my servers own script which is nice so a big thank you for this tool.
That’s pretty awesome man. How long did it take you to rename all those files?
Not long used a bulk rename tool, to longer to move them into each individual folder. Took me about two days of 6 hours each.
Ohh and happy anniversary (fivem)
I can stare at code for 12+ hours in a day but cant bring myself to do what you did so kudos to you on that.
And thank you, it’s been 2 years now being apart of this great community. And here’s to another 2 more

Autism for the win on repetitive tasks like that, it is one of the reasons my server loves me LOL

Issue I have is, tried using this to port clothing from the newer DLCs, got all the files and put them in the correct folder structure, but in-game the 200 slots get reserved but none of the DLC clothing shows up, if i stream the clothing just as replacements, they work fine.
For reference was taking files from the Casino Update (mpvinewood)

I haven’t tried that yet might give it a go tonight, I can tell you I stopped using the 200 slot reserve, it just seem to leave a giant gap between the addon clothing and the next default clothing which seemed weird to me. Not saying it is right but I stopped reserving slots and just put 0 there.

If you do let me know as unless i was doing something wrong, they dont seem to show up as addons
So I found an issue here. The addon hats would for some reason allow hair to clip through which is really annoying. Not sure how to mitigate this issue whether or not I have to deploy some kind of code or have to start replacing hats. Everything else is working perfectly and I appreciate this tutorial.
I cant get GTAUtil to open, it crashes instantly upon opening it
Your probably trying to just double click on it, you need to have cmd open when you try to use it, it isn’t a graphical interface kinda program. There are instructions on how to set it up and adding it to your environment variables path to allow you to call it from command line natively.

Yeah you’re right, so this program makes it so you can add clothing without it replacing anything that’s currently existing in GTA?
GTAV/mods/x64e.rpf/models/cdimages/pedprops.rpf
how i stream this?
s_m_y_hwaycap_01_p.ydd
s_m_y_hwaycap_01_p.ytd
i believe im doing everything correct but when i build it, it makes a resource folder that has an empty resource lua and empty stream folder
You cant have your game open when you build it, i had the same issue
