I guess you could say the title speaks for itself, just was wondering if this was possible because I’ve seen it in a video. I saw a mod on gta 5 mods, but I’m unsure if it would work considering most servers don’t allow custom scripts!
How to make your minimap display a custom map?
You need to do that minimap , also it work on few servers 
If you were to put the files in your direct GTA V it should load it but that could cause many issues when not using the base game files. I would attempt to do the mod in the direct file location then try other methods if that doesn’t succeed.

What do you mean by direct gta? Like replace the minimap files? If so how would one come a by doing so?
