I know how to build a base server and setup database. But one thing I’m confused about which resources I would add. anyone can please explain me about what resources are needed to build a full ESX server.

No, only because there is no master list of resources that make a good server. You’ll find all the resources you’d ever want by making yourself at home both on the forum here and on Github. Make sure you’re using a resource written to work with your version of ESX.
