It’s literally a feature build into the platform. Only you can make up your own security flaws, this has NOTHING to do with FiveM. If you have an issue with facilitating a permissions system, take it up with the script creator, or the related thread.

not without making your own build of fivem and forcing your players to use it

alternately, you can just make your scripts not interact with the console at all and it’ll have no effect whatsoever

So console can be disabled via an option.
Where would that option need to be?

Nowhere, even if you were to patch the code (took less than a minute to find) you’d still want to secure it serverside as, like everything that’s networked, you can’t trust the client

There’s no way to “disable” it, and without manually patching it out of the client there won’t be. This thread is ridiculous. If you can’t secure a server properly you shouldn’t have one.

i think a lot of other people have already said it, YOU NEED TO MAKE YOUR OWN FIVEM BUILD!
also, why din’t you just secure your scripts?

The intention always is not to fool all of the people all of them time, just most of them. The client can never be trusted. But that does not mean it needs to have a hack me here sign enabled by the F8 button. And we all know the more options in life we are given the greater diversity of choice exists, the more freedom we all enjoy, and they higher we all climb.

By default, the console has nothing that can allow people to “hack” you, if someone can do that through the console, you need to manage your security better.
