To add a feed to your server, you need to set the activitypubFeed information convar with your Fediverse handle.
In this example we use the mstdn.social instance, but it can be any Mastodon instance. username is your username on that instance.
sets activitypubFeed username@mstdn.social
After you can post on your Mastodon feed and it should appear ingame.

No, you need to create an account on mstdn.social and post messages there, your sets line should only then contain sets guades@mtsdn.social

Would I be able to replace mstdn.social with twitter if I wanted to use twitter instead of mstdn?

I would kindly request to stop signing up on mstdn.social with FiveM account since we will keep banning them.
Our community is not made for this game stuff and I would like to suggest to use fivem-paradise.com - Mastodon for federating GTA or any other games to the Fediverse.

Does twitter work now?
No you muse use a service supporting WebFinger/ActivityPub. Such as any mastodon instance.
so if we cant use mstdn.social, is there another website? and the link that mstdn just posted doesnt go anywhere.

I have this in my cfx sets activitypubFeed Salva_dev@mstdn.social can it be that it takes until the images are displayed ?

MSTDN is currently not accepting new members for FiveM purposes. Due to this limitation, I decided to create an alternative platform at fivem.social. The reason behind this decision became evident as I closely observed the server list and noticed that many servers were utilizing various domains. This initiative aims to provide server owners with a dedicated space on fivem.social.
