How do I clear my cache?

I know how to access my GTA IV & FiveReborn directories, I just want to know how I clear FiveReborn’s cache? Like what is a step by step on how to do it so I know I’m doing it correctly?

In the folder “cache” delete all files and folders EXCEPT folder “game”

Also delete cache.xml in your five reborn directory.

this only contains the version for the local build.

i did deleted everything in the cache folder except game and the caches.xml but everytime i open the damn thing,it downloads them back!!! help :frowning:

First of all, this topic is old…

Secondly, it’s supposed to download everything back… Do you not know how cache works??

Maybe they don’t. Instead of throwing attitude their way maybe try explaining it.

The cache stores files for the servers your play on to allow streaming of resources, and other files. Sometimes the cache files, can become corrupt, or didn’t update correctly. By deleting the cache it forces the server to redownload all the correct required files. So it should be populated again with files. Hope this helps.
