How can I play GTA:O Normal Without uninstalling FiveM?

Steam/CD/Social Club? Social Club (i bought the game on epic games)
Windows version? Windows 10
Did you try to delete caches.xml and try again? No.

Since FiveM doesn’t modify your game installation and it installs outside your game folder you can just start regular GTA5 and join online.

(unless you followed some shitty tutorial on youtube which tells you to put fivem in your game folder)

I put five in my game folder. That I have to do?

What? No you don’t “that you have to do”, you aren’t even able to put it in your game folder, that should error out if you do that, why and how did you manage to do such a stupid thing at all?

surprisingly it seems a lot of people think that is were it needs to go “and some how works” for most of these people, even more shocking is some people that have issues with FiveM some how get it working by moving it into the GTA5 folder “shrugs”.

If you put FiveM inside of your GTA5 take it out and put it the FiveM.exe into a empty folder “make it easier on yourself and simply make a folder called FiveM in C:\ and plop the FiveM.exe into there”.

  • Uninstall FiveM
  • Reinstall it in the proper location (%localappdata%/FiveM)
  • Play FiveM and GTA:O
