I’m currently building a new FiveM RP project called San Andreas 1980, and I’m looking for a dedicated development team to help bring it to life… this includes scripters, mappers, and artists.
Concept Overview:
The server is set entirely in the 1980s.
The playable area is the northern part of the map (Paleto Bay / Grapeseed area) — a deliberate choice, since rural small-town California reads far more convincingly as “the 80s” than the modern Los Santos skyline, and it keeps the whole map internally consistent instead of half-modern, half-retro.
Everything period-accurate: no cell phones, no modern tech, no electronic keys — pagers, CB radios, a cash economy, and vehicles/jobs adapted to fit the decade.
Custom MLOs and the setting’s lore are already in progress.
Framework:
Built on a heavily customized QBox, reworked from the ground up to fit the 80s theme rather than sitting on stock scripts.
Who I’m Looking For:
Lua Developers familiar with QBox (or ESX/QBCore experience willing to adapt). Priority scripts right now: a first-person pager system (UI rendered on the prop itself, unique ID per pager), a period car-lock system (physical key item + animation, no electronic locks), a reworked ox_inventory UI, 80s-adapted sheriff/ambulance jobs, and a CB radio system (starting with the sheriff department).
Mappers who can build a historically convincing 1980s atmosphere for the northern county.
UI/Prop artists — custom interfaces, models, and textures fitting the era. This is the biggest priority right now.
People to help with project management, lore, economy balancing, and RP ideas.
Paid work — freelance, hourly or per-piece/per-script, open to discussion.
The project is Italian-based, but international contributors are also welcome if you’re passionate about the idea.
If you’re into immersive 80s RP, period-accurate systems, and collaborative world-building, this project is for you!
Feel free to DM me or reply to this post to join the team. Every role and bit of help is appreciated!
Hi Luke, I’d be interested in taking on the pager interface and its ID/message flow as a separate paid resource for San Andreas 1980. Do you already have a pager prop and animation, or would those need creating too? And should the first version support messages between players? I can quote that part once those details are clear.
Hey, I saw that you’re currently looking for a developer for your FiveM project.
I’m the owner of Zyranite Development. We work mainly with QBCore and Qbox and can handle full server development, including server setup, configuration, bug fixing, optimization, script installation, MLO setup, jobs, admin systems, database work and custom Lua/NUI development.
We can work on individual tasks or handle the project long-term depending on what you need.
If you already have a server or existing base, I can take a look at the current state of it first. You can send me what you currently have and what you want done, and I can give you a clear scope and price before we start.
We also have our own FiveM products and development work that I can show as examples.
If you’re still looking for a developer, feel free to DM me and we can discuss the project.
Hey Luke, are you still looking for Lua/UI help? I’ve been developing for FiveM since 2017 and work with Qbox, custom backend systems and NUI. The physical-key system and 80s inventory interface sound like a good fit for my scripting work. Which of those still needs doing? Happy to discuss a small, clearly scoped paid task first.
If you are still interested in a developer, mapper, modeler, I’ve got an entire team ready to take this on.
Short or long-term, add me on discord @ Myntdevv or drop me your discord and I will get in touch.
Looking forward to hearing back from you soon and getting to discuss it further.
