Important parts

What is the issue you’re having?
High RAM usage causing game to lag, stutter and freeze over time. When on FiveM client memory usage is fine. When I join a server it goes to about 4-6gb (around 70%). This then constantly climbs slowly until about 8gb (about 90%). The game then starts freezing with huge FPS drops. I then have to restart the game where it starts again. When looking at task manager CPU, GPU, and everything else is fine, its just memory that peaks out.
What are you trying to do?
Trying to play the game but RAM usage climbs to the point where the game freezes up and lags.
What have you tried already to fix the issue?
Changing nvidia control panel settings to allocate more GPU, reinstalling both FiveM and GTAV, put both GTAV and FiveM on same SSD. Changing in game graphics settings and lowering my graphics to minimum settings. I’ve trial and errored as many in game settings as I can and nothing seems top change the memory usage.

What server did you get this issue on? Be specific and name some, ‘all of them’ by itself isn’t useful!

Additional comments

My friend plays on the same server with me, they have the same specs as me but I have a better GPU. They are not having the same issue so this makes me think it’s not a hardware issue.
