Hiding/Changing FiveM Server List Address

Hello,

Someone made a similar post before: Hiding Server ip from Server List but was never answered.

I have a server, let’s say the IP is 1.1.1.1:30120
I then have a DDoS Protected IP which is lets say 2.2.2.2:30120
I can connect with 2.2.2.2:30120, it redirects me to 1.1.1.1:30120 which is fine,
but in the server list under “Address” this IP is shown: 1.1.1.1:30120 rather than 2.2.2.2:30120.

How can I change the IP which is sent to the heartbeat? Or change the address in the FiveM server list?

Hello. In order to do that, you need to add failover IP on your windows server ethernet settings. After that you can bind the new IP on add_tcp and add_udp lines on your server.cfg. Don’t use 0.0.0.0 or localhost as you will be using your real IP. Not the failover/firewall one.

You don’t “find” it anywhere, you have to send it as a packet from the right source IP/port. How did you set up a weird proxy IP without knowing anything about networking?
