Lately i have been having issues with hackers coming on my server and just giving everybody tons off money. I’ve been trying to figure out a way to like restart the server and do a little rollback. Do any of you have a good sollution for this problem because i can’t seem to find it. Btw im using ESX framework
Well yes, i do have a few good ideas you can use
Either you could code in a lua script that resets someone’s money if they get over the limit in the server and if they do get like 200 billion it will reset it back to the money they had before the money drop or even drop them from the server if they try to do it
You can also get cake_anticheat which is really good at finding people using scripts on your server, you even have a in-game menu to check if someone is using Cheat Engine or something else on the server
thanks the cake_anticheat sounds good ill check it out!
@S-Bots i cant seem to find anything referring to cake_anti cheat online only 1 that is for garry’s mod do you have a link where i can download it?
Fix your exploitable events. A lot of resources made by people for ESX are copy pasted scripts with huge exploits.
See How To Create an Anti-Cheat - List of Vulnerable and Abused Events (Updated January 2020)
To get an idea of how they exploit your scripts see How hackers can exploit your servers and what to do about it
If this cake_anticheat
is paid, don’t use it. It is illegal to pay for resources for FiveM. Doing so may get you in big trouble.
Thanks @d0p3t do you by any chance als know a way to make it that when a hacker still manages to cheat money that i can do like a mini rollback to like 2 minutes earlier? So like it doesnt instantly get saved in database or an easy way to put back an old database
I made a very rudimentary resource for vrp, for people that cheat money. You will have to customize it for your needs and if you use esx, you’ll have to adapt it for it.
All it does is check the client for their money and see if they’ve gotten a certain amount over time. But again this is for vrp, and I’m not sure how this would work with esx as I don’t use it.
