Hi, can someone help me with this? i want the tsunami thingy in my server.
I need help with editing the water.xml or something, I am really new to this and I really wonder where that water.xml file is located and how to replace it with a new one.
the water.xml file is in the Tsunami folder, and Im pretty sure this is meant for single player and am not really sure if this will work on your server. Anyways open the water.xml in Notepad++ and you should be able to edit it that way.

Depends on what mod you installed. theres a water.xml in almost every folder

To install this you have to install it to your GTAV.
Follow this tut to do it
there wouldnt be any water.xml in the server folder because the mod isnt installed there
I don’t think this mod is server compatible.
Make a backup of your GTA stuff before installing any mods

Ive added this into my server before, however it takes ~5 minutes to load in, as you need to also use custom files to load the modified water.xml
Use OpenIV

Open OpenIv > Common.rpf > Data > Levels > GTAV > Water.xml

any updates for this? i opend up a 100m water level xml file and copy pasted that into a new water.meta and tried streaming it in a fivem server and did not work. might come down to me not knowing how to 100% stream new meta files
you can not use flood mod in fivem only GTAV single player
ok thanks for saving me the trouble. I would have spent another few hours on trying different things. never really messed with meta files my cars guys do all time figured i would attack this from that angle. It would definitely be unique, one hell of a weekend event ahah, thanks have a great night.

its ok. It was going to be just something to mess around with. I guess there is not a single meta file that controls water levels or it could be streamed, Alot like how custom cars stream their meta files. I have not searched for a native for water level only thing i seen was to check if something is in water.
