I would like to start off by saying that I have read the similar posts on the topic. I’m trying to fix the physics validation issues with .ybn mlo’s. The error’s that appear are similar to these
“ResourcePlacementThr/ Physics validation failed for asset hei_sm_22_1.ybn.
[ 75844] [ GTAProcess] ResourcePlacementThr/ This asset is INVALID, but we’ve fixed it for this load. Please fix the exporter used to export it.
[ 75844] [ GTAProcess] ResourcePlacementThr/ Details: Poly 1525 edge reference is invalid. It leads to vertex 65494, when there are only 7673 vertices.”
I’m aware of what the problem is, and I’m trying to install GIMS EVO for 3ds max so i can re-export the maps that cause problems. I’m doing the manual install from https://gtaforums.com/topic/836266-vrel-gims-evo-for-gta-v/ and according to that website it’s good for 2018 through 2020. I’ve tried with 2020, and 2021, yet i still get the following error.
I get this error on 2020 and 2021. Does anyone know how to properly install this, OR another program that can import and export ybn maps. Thanks for any assistance you may have.
Using this tool : YMAP & YBN Mover - GTA5-Mods.com you will be able to load and re-export the .ybn file. Simply add it and then click “Start” on the bottom left. Unfortunately you can’t fix .ydr using this.
EDIT : an update was made to let you fix .ydr files.
Hi, I added files and pressed “Start” after a couple seconds it says “Complete” in the bottom left, is that it? Or am I missing something? Should I just copy the same folder back to server and that fixes issue?
