I’ve been struggling for several days with ropes in FiveM, and I’d appreciate your help.
I’m trying to use AddRope and AttachEntitiesToRope to create ropes that apply tension forces, such as holding a vehicle or a ped in place. However, I’ve noticed that these functions alone don’t seem to generate the expected tension behavior.
Is it necessary to use other functions like SetEntityVelocity or ApplyForceToEntity to simulate the tension effect? Or is there a better approach to achieve this kind of functionality with ropes?
Any advice or examples would be greatly appreciated!
