[HELP] How do you change your IP for your server?

Right now I am hosting a server off my pc and I was wondering if I could change the IP to something like server.(roleplayserver).net or something like that.

You would need to purchase a domain, Set a DNS A record to the IP it should be pointing too.

Hey not sure if you will respond to this, however my domain provider “STRATO” does not allow the Service nor Protocol to start with either “_ or -” what can I do? If I figure something out I will gladly share how I personally fixed it.

Seems like they automatically start the Service and Protocol with “_” so it fixed itself I guess.
