Guys, there is a problem with changing the collisionss that are in the rpf archive x64n.rpf. I tried to manipulate collisions in a usual way in the blender, I just removed polygons as usual, but the changed collision didn’t work. The new collisions just didn’t replace the old one. I was told that I could somehow change such a collision through MLO with the portals. Maybe someone knows how to do it?
If you edit the right file (and the new file itself has no errors/issues) it should change. Make sure you’re doing the actual correct file, also be aware that some files may have more than one “copy”, such as the hi
versions.
Oh, the file that I’m trying to change has two versions? e.g. there is two ybn files: one has name ch1_01_15 and another is named hei_ch1_01_15, may the problem be here?(I was trying to change and translate to server both of these)
hei
is usually the most up-to-date one, however you can verify the exact file via CodeWalker - enable the latest DLC and go into the Collisions view mode, when you select a poly from a collision it’ll tell you which YBN file it belongs to.
Hm, have you ever heard about changing world collisions using MLO or sth like this?
