Heavy input lag in RP servers

Hello,

I have a major problem with FiveM and RedM.

Let me explain, when I move or do any action, there is a huge latency between the moment I press the key on my keyboard and the moment the action is executed in game, I’ve got a hundred FPS in the game though…

I’ve noticed with CPUID that latencies appear when I have one of my CPU cores (out of 32) at 100%.

I’ve got a very good setup though:

  • CPU: i9-13900k
  • GPU: RTX 2080ti
  • CAM: Sony A7 II
  • RAM: G.Skill Trident Z5 SDRAM DDR5 6000 CL30-38-38-96
  • CM: Asus ROG Z790 hero
  • HOUSING: Corsair Crystal 460X RGB
  • SCREEN 1: Acer XB271HU - 27" - 165Hz - 1ms - 3K - G-SYNC
  • SCREEN 2: Acer GN246HL - 24" - 144hz - 1ms
  • SCREEN 3: IIYama e2483hs - 24" - 1ms
  • HEADSET: Beyerdynamic DT 1990 PRO
  • MICROPHONE: AudioTechnica AT2020
  • MIXTABLE: TC Helicon GoXLR
  • MOUSE: Zowie FK1
  • KEYBOARD: Razer Ornata V2
  • Hard disk : Samsung M.2 990 pro 2TO
  • OS: Windows 11 Professionnel 22H2 build 22621.2283

I don’t understand where this is coming from.

I’m not a computer novice, I’ve updated all the drivers, I’ve tried to deactivate my antivirus, I’ve also updated the bios etc… I’ve also tried overclocking my processor to see if anything has changed…

I’m so depressed that I’m writing this post hoping to come across someone who has the same problem as me.

Yes I believe I have a similar issue, I’ve also tried overclocking and still no improvement

If you could please let me know if you find a way to resolve this issue and if I’m able to find a fix I will be sure to fill you in.

Hello,

After going through all the settings on my PC, I noticed that my antivirus had activated the “game booster” function, a real piece of crap that I quickly deactivated.
Without this option, my PC finally works normally!

Antivirus used : Avira Security
