What is the issue you’re having?:
Game is hitching/stuttering every 10 seconds or so. My PC is new why am I having this issue?
What are you trying to do?:
Run the game smooth without minimising graphics if it doesn’t need it though my specs should be able to handle high settings.
What have you tried already to fix the issue?:
Not sure what I should do I expect to have no hitching with this new pc current specs.
What did you do to get this issue?:
Nothing first time playing and got hitching. My extended texture budget is turned up abit more than half way. Everything else is default settings.
What server did you get this issue on?:

Anyone else experiencing this issue? Why is a high spec new PC hitching every 10 seconds it very strange? Anyone know what is wrong?

That… doesn’t seem intended. In fact, there’s an option in the FiveM settings (and a second one in the F8 console) to mitigate a GTA V bug that does that.
You don’t need more FPS than your monitor can produce, which is 144. Why would you want to burn your GPU at full FPS that it can produce? Cap it and tell me results, only kids runs at full power when it’s not needed and thinks they are super cool, or people who simply don’t know. In the end your game stutter isn’t? Cap it - save energy, save nerves and have a smooth game.
It’s because I never capped any FPS on my old computer before for any game and never had issues with hitching etc. I will cap it next time I jump on and see if there is any difference.
Also with this new build and uncapped fps I see that my CPU usage is around 22% and GPU usage is 75%-80%. Why is the gpu usage so low when I have an rtx 3070ti?
