Graphics Mod can lead to ban?

Recently I’ve seen people using “Reshade” (https://reshade.me/) Originally made for Grand Theft Auto V. While researching and testing it myself,

I’ve seen :

  • It can edit your current game session by “alot” of features.
  • It has a option called “crosshair” which is actually a crosshair on your screen.
  • It can literally disable some textures and make things invisible.
  • It can change colors of things and cars.
  • It can add reflections to alot of things.
  • It can basically edit your game files in live server.

Note : All of the things CAN BE LIVE edited.

If allowed by moderators, I can post some strong evidence what it can do.

My main question is, is this allowed to be used by any clients? Will this considered to be cheating? Shall I report it as a “free cheat” that can give obvious advantages to others?

I have seen almost everyone in streaming community to be using this. There is a person who is reselling modified version of this mod for couple of bucks.

Can we use this to enhance our graphics?
Any thoughts are welcomed by anyone.

Why not? ReShade will disable features prone to abuse if it detects any network activity by a game.

The thing is, Reshade provides a in-game menu that is allowing anyone to make a ini file and equip this.

It also has features like, Nigh vision, monochrome etc which normally RP servers would have disabled to stop power gaming.

My question is will anyone probably get banned for this? I just don’t want to get banned for editing game files or something similar. It looks like mod menu at first glance lol.
