When I first joined roughly 6 months after its initial release and I loved the server and honestly and genuinly found it the best server I ever played on.
There was great content for both Civs, Crims and LEO with a lot of places to branch off too or specialize in.
If you want to make your own business NewDay is the best server to play on with all kinds of businesses to support you on your journey to creating the business you want (Graphics design, Google sheets, MLO’s) this can all be handled with IC interactions.
Not everything about this server is amazing tho, I personally feel like the 2.0 update was announced too soon which caused the player count to drop.
The drop in player count was soon followed by the release of 2.0 which at that stage felt empty with not much to do scriptwise, It feels like the release was rushed from my view.
In 2.0 I got the feeling NewDay was focussing on CivRP and leaving the Criminal stuff behind.
In addition to this the economy was made way rougher compared to 1.0 this came to a point where it felt like I had to choose between only roleplaying in the time I have to play games because otherwise I could not pay my bills in character.
I personally chose to leave NewDay behind due to this economy because a lot of my criminal friends were to busy grinding to pay their bills, which cost a lot of good storylines I had going.
After 1,5 years of playing my opinion goes as follows If you want to play a civilian character NewDay is one of the best servers to play on however the criminal content is lacking heavily from what I experienced so if you want to play a criminal character maybe another server is a better option for you.
