To capture a ghost, use it via inventory, when task is completed, you can type the /hcam command to use it freely
Or you can easily adjust the usage for your needs.

I am having the same issue, I have the item created and my inventory chosen, etc and the item doesn’t work and the command tells me I need to finish the ghost hunt in order to use the camera

Make sure that item is registered as usable item on your server, check if kq_link is set up correctly. If you are using some non-framework included inventory, you have to write a function to register it as usable yourself, or try option framework in kq_link at inventory section.

Hey ya it is set to the framework, I am using qs-inventory so that is chosen and the rest is good to and it just tells me the same notification sadly to finish the ghost hunt
