Getting client-side audio to stream (xpost magnesium)

I’ve recently stumbled across this ancient post from magnesium;

I found this post interesting because I own GTA through the rockstar launcher. I installed all the gobbeldygoop for LSPDFR to run to do some research in a less corrosive environment, except every time I launch RPH, the rockstar launcher detects my archivefixed RPFs containing custom audio as “corrupt” or outdated or whatever and automatically locks me out of GTA until it has “repaired” the RPFs and yeeted my audio in the proccess.

I am attempting to approach this in a way that I can give someone an archive and a batch file and tell them “hey run this” and they will magically have custom sounds for FiveM that don’t alter their base-game files.

My understanding of the post (which is obviously not correct) is that more or less I can stick archivefixed RPFs in the common or platform folder and FiveM will use those over the ones provided in the GTA directory. Something like this;

This stems from the fact that FiveM is not RPH and does not care about a “Mods” folder.

Any guidance (or even installation guides for single-player) on how I can achieve this would be much appreciated :slight_smile:

common/x64/? Not… really. You probably meant to use platform/.
