To test your FiveM client or see if an issue is related to a server , you can try to connect to connect “https://fivem.net/” or join via FiveM.net (b1604) testing server / Cfx.re, which is a clean testing server with only basic resources and vMenu. From your explenation you also mentioned that it’s your test server which means you should be getting errors in your console or F8. Maybe you are having issues with scripts or mlos on your server.
