Announcement
First of all, this topic will continue like a blog. I prefer this approach rather than simply bumping the topic to the top. I’ll be sharing progress and keeping the community informed about who we are, what we do, and what our capabilities are.
If you’re not interested in reading the full story or update for this week—yes, we are open to work.
This blog approach also aligns with @nta’s transparency principle.
Hi, let’s go over what we’ve been working on!
Vidarr’s Change Log
Since the last update, I’ve completed the full NUI integration for a RedM resource. However, I’m struggling to find a decent framework that meets my needs. The most common issue with existing frameworks is that they enforce strict character creation pages. Since we’re developing resources for the community—whether to share or sell—the installation process must be simple and user-friendly.
So far, I’ve tested RSG and VORP, but both frameworks require players to choose clothing during character creation, which makes it difficult to integrate an easy-to-use resource.
I initially focused on RSG because it seemed more advanced and well-structured, but after reviewing the source code, I realized it wasn’t a good fit. Some variable names don’t even make sense—for example, I found a local function in rsg-appearance
called OpenCateogry
, which includes a variable named "Skinkosong"
. I have no idea what that even means.
I originally chose RSG because it resembles qb-core
in FiveM, but due to its hardcoded logic, I didn’t want to completely rewrite a framework resource. So today, I switched to VORP, which seems more similar to the ES framework in FiveM.
The issue I’m currently facing is that the HUD isn’t visible when logging into the server with VORP.
Kyrien’s Change Log
Kyrien is getting more familiar with the forum and still getting to know the community. The support messages you’ve sent to my DMs have really motivated him, so thank you to everyone who has shown interest in his work!
We’re still dealing with some minor collision and texture issues, but we’re getting the hang of things. In the near future, you’ll get to see much more of Kyrien’s work. Hopefully, within the next 2–3 updates, we’ll have new showcases of MLOs and maps to share.
Growing Team
Some of our friends have been inspired by our work and have decided to join us. They’re currently in the training phase, getting familiar with the tools they need to use.
Once the training phase is complete, we will introduce them as part of the actual team.
For now, we are testing whether they can handle all this knowledge.
Customer Relations
We’ve met great people who have reached out to us, and we’ve had some good meetings together.
Since the last update, I haven’t been very active on the forum to show signs of life, so we haven’t made new contracts. However, we are still working with our current clients.
Thoughts and Observations
My last message may have come across as a bit emotional, but facts are facts. We’re not mad at any group or individual, but as you can understand, communicating with people and trying to determine whether they are scammers or serious clients is challenging—especially when developing other projects at the same time.
The last message was simply a dump of the problems we were facing.
Your Feedback
For our new and ongoing projects, we need your feedback and guidance.
What do you need in FiveM or RedM? Our first store releases should fill some gaps in the market.
We don’t want to remake existing features, as we did with Bluxell Skills.
(By the way, I forgot to mention—Bluxell Skills is now available for RedM too! One resource works on both games. Hurray!!)
For maps, MLOs, and scripts, we especially need your input to create something useful for everyone.
You’re also welcome to suggest prices for resource ideas! However, we can’t guarantee that the final price will match your suggestion, as it depends on the time spent on development and the complexity of the idea.
See you at next update. Vidarr out.
