The fact that their license does not allow people to commercially sell any additions to the phone will sadly prevent people putting any work in this. If qb-core is not going to make apps for it, or some server their experienced devs leaks their custom made apps it’ll be a while I would suppose 
We’re currently working closely with qbcore and helping them creating apps. First one being the bank app, which will be integrated directly into npwd.
My goal is to try and create a solution for self-contained apps, but there’s a few other stuff that needs to be tackled fist.
And yes, we don’t allow people to commercially sell anything. One of the reasons, after knowing how the community is, it would most likely be apps that does not follow our practices or does weird stuff in general. We’d like to enforce and help, instead of people coming to us with apps they bought which are bad.
Lastly, we hate paid resources

Considering we put hundreds of hours into this, why would we allow people to make paid apps? We dont get payed for this. No one else should ether.
Can follow our roadmap here for planned features. Feel free to pr anything not on this list or anything we don’t wanna make.

And that’s sad how? How about people actually learn to contribute and give back to the community instead of constantly expecting $$$ for the few hours they spent in a chair to make something.
This thought process is exactly why the community is so greedy. Just trying to turn a profit on anything and everything.

I am not going to get into whatever, this statement is supposed to mean, but I will just say that many people already have. All it takes is 10 seconds of browsing the code, or looking at the contributors to see that this resource attempts to implements new patterns & architecture to the platform that improve dev experience across the board for heavily NUI driven resources / V8 focused developers.
I will also point you to the rest of the software development world where OSS development isn’t about how many “fat stacks” you can get from RP servers while yet seemingly remaining intrinsically stagnant in practices and workflow.
Maybe there is a particular logical reasoning why developers seem so interested in following this project so much, compared to other similar open source FiveM projects?

It’s your reality, not everyone elses. Not allowing paid apps will prevent people that are only in this community for the money from making apps. People that are interested in contributing to open source software will still participate and make the project better for everyone instead of being selfish.
