Yes, for me, I’d rather it be paid or open source because I’m running something on an alternative platform and it needs the full files. If it’s open source, I can move it or tweak it to suit my needs. Hell if it’s paid and open source, I’d consider buying it because of that flexibility.
I have never stolen anything, I have never resold anything. It’s unfortunately that there are some garbage people out there that do that sort of thing but not everyone is like that. CFX allowing free releases be ESCROWed negatively impacts me, so yeah. I’d rather it be paid and open source than free and encrypted.
This isn’t a knock on the creator’s work, it’s actually quite well made. Just a general frustration at another release like this.
