[Free] FFD New Life Rule [esx or qb] using ox_lib and oxmyql

FFDNLR
A lightweight, multi-framework FiveM resource designed to help your community respect the New Life Rule (NLR) by tracking player deaths, drawing “off-limits” zones, issuing warnings, and enforcing customizable penalties.

  • Records each player’s death coordinates server-side (via oxmysql), then recreates a safe-zone blip on the client.

    • Define the radius (meters) and cooldown (seconds) in config.lua.

    • Issue up to N spaced warnings (every X seconds) before penalties kick in.
  • Flexible Penalties
    Ragdoll, Kill, Jail, or Teleport offenders just outside the forbidden zone—automatically repeating at set intervals while they remain inside.

    • On resource or server restart, each player’s remaining NLR timer and zone blip are restored seamlessly.
  • Exit-Zone Notifications
    • Thank players for compliance with a one-time “NLR Safe” message when they leave the zone.

I just don’t get it where you need this kind of script. What this script does if you die too many times?

The intent of the script is for someone dying in an area and trying to return to rp after being killed. Alot of serious rp servers dont allow this and dont have a way to stop people from going back to there death location this was just something i made custom for a friend and released it to the public.

since the client and server is locked maybe add locales file for the notify and also the notify header etc

I plan on doing this now that people are using it besides the person I made it for. Just wanted to make sure people were gonna like and use it for the concept and since so many people have downloaded it I will.

Ive made these Updates if you have any issues let me know. you can edit the notification in the lang.lua

This is a very nice little script! However, it doesn’t appear to work very well for qbcore. When a player is downed, the script immediately starts to warn the player to “leave the area”. It needs to check if the player is in downed state vs dead and has respawned.

Unfortunately, since the script is locked down I can’t work around this. My suggestion would be to add endpoints for certain actions (like warn, punish, etc) that a user could override with their own implementation.

What hospital script do you use

I have Made an update to include a custom penalty in the config as well as adjustable get player death depending on the system you are using you can now set it up — Also included the SQL that was missing from me last Re upload
