Hello dear RedM players! Today, we will talk about a brand new feature that will take your gaming experience one step further: IDCard. You can now interact with NPCs to create your own personalised IDCard.
To start using the IDCard feature, you first need to interact with an NPC. After the interaction, a menu will open where you can enter your personal information. In this menu, it is possible to specify your name, surname, date of birth and other basic information. In addition, in whichever city you open this menu, you will receive your IDCard for that city.
After filling in the menu, simply press the confirmation button on the menu to confirm your information. This will seal your IDCard and it will be added to your inventory.
While your IDCard allows you to carry your personal information in a stylish and organised way, it also offers options to customise your card. You can add a photo to your card and make it completely unique to you.
In addition, the 3 blank pages on your IDCard are ideal for storing your important notes. You can write your CV, add your criminal record or record other necessary information. In addition, the server owner can change the number of pages in the config and increase the number of pages up to 50.
The IDCard feature allows you to securely carry your in-game identity digitally, while organising your personal information and allowing you to interact more in the game world.
Create your city card right now and use your IDCard to represent yourself more powerfully in the game world!
Friendly suggestions - Maybe have an option to use the passport and it shows to other people in direct vicinity like other ID cards, that way you don’t have to give them the passport to see what’s on it/check passport.
Charge for the passport. Have them pay a fee to buy/setup a passport and only able to receive one passport but can pay again to update passport at the passport NPC.
Increase the text/font size on the notes page for better visibility/reading.
Also, if the option to show the passport be an option in config, some immersive roleplaying require you to hand over the document, as it was by the day…
