FEATURES:

  • V1.0.0:

    • Engine indication including overheating warnings

    • Oil indication with oil temp, pressure, and level warnings

    • Anchor script and anchor indicator

    • Bilge indicator (bilge doesn’t work, just lets you know if you’re upside down or the hull is super damaged

    • Water Depth in ft or m.

    • Speed in Knots and either MPH or KPH

    • Compass Heading

    • Coordinates

    • Green lighting at night

PLANNED FEATURES:

  • Make bilge indication work if submerged
  • Make bilge work???

INSTALLATION | REQUIREMENTS | DOWNLOAD | HOW TO USE:

  • INSTALLATION:

    • Drag “boatHUD” folder into your server resources folder
    • Add “start boatHUD” to your server.cfg
  • REQUIREMENTS:

    • NONE!
  • DOWNLOAD:

  • OPTIONAL ANCHOR SCRIPT:

    • To anchor the boat: “-” in your NUMPAD
    • This keybind is changeable in the keybinds setting of your game

CONFIGURATION:

Notes: READ ME PLEASE. No support will be given for issues discussed here. Please use your brain!

  1. All config options ONLY support the values they say they do.

  2. Anchor script can be disabled. Turn it off if you’re having another script handle boat anchoring.

  3. Units can be changed between Freedom Units (“Imperial”) and something else (“Metric”). I don’t know what a kilometer is so idk why you’d want that

This script looks amazing! I really appreciate you sharing this awesome free resource—it’s exactly what I’ve been looking for. The way you wrote the post had me cracking up, too! No, didnt effect anything, just if someone didnt realize its on “+” - which I keep :stuck_out_tongue:

Now I will see if I can make i fit the colors of my odometer, and remove it when in boat :slight_smile:

Great release, translated to French and edited a bit the HUD to remove the fuel.

I cant figure it out, bu why is the color sometimes changing from white to green?

It does it when you turn your headlights or high beams on

Is there a way to make the fuel marker work with a fuel script?

The fuel gauge uses FiveM native GetVehicleFuelLevel (and multiplies it by 10–from what I can tell the native goes from 0-10, so multiplying by 10 gives 0-100% fuel level…at least that’s the idea)

Any script that uses SetFuelConsumptionState or SetFuelConsumptionRateMultiplier (the natives FiveM has that handle fuel level) will be compatible. I can account for any script that does something wack so I can’t guarantee that it will be compatible, but if the author of your fuel script has half a brain it should be compatible.
