What is the issue you’re having?
Hello FiveM Support / Community,
I’m experiencing an issue where FiveM is consistently stuck at 40 FPS on my laptop. I have tried all common fixes, but the problem persists. Here are my system specs and what I have tested:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 6800HS
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 (laptop)
- Monitor: 244Hz, 1080p
- Windows 11, latest updates installed
- DirectX options tested: DX10, DX11 (no DX12 available)
- V-Sync: OFF in game and NVIDIA control panel
fps_max 0set in console- FiveM cache cleared
- Power plan: High Performance
The FPS remains locked at 40 FPS even in fullscreen mode. I’ve also tried windowed mode and DX10 fallback, but the issue persists.
Could this be a bug related to laptops with AMD Ryzen mobile CPUs and NVIDIA RTX mobile GPUs? Any guidance or fix would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
