Fps stuck at 40fps

What is the issue you’re having?

Hello FiveM Support / Community,

I’m experiencing an issue where FiveM is consistently stuck at 40 FPS on my laptop. I have tried all common fixes, but the problem persists. Here are my system specs and what I have tested:

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 6800HS
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 (laptop)
  • Monitor: 244Hz, 1080p
  • Windows 11, latest updates installed
  • DirectX options tested: DX10, DX11 (no DX12 available)
  • V-Sync: OFF in game and NVIDIA control panel
  • fps_max 0 set in console
  • FiveM cache cleared
  • Power plan: High Performance

The FPS remains locked at 40 FPS even in fullscreen mode. I’ve also tried windowed mode and DX10 fallback, but the issue persists.

Could this be a bug related to laptops with AMD Ryzen mobile CPUs and NVIDIA RTX mobile GPUs? Any guidance or fix would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
