After some thinking and trying so many fixes for this error myself, I think we have a fix and an explanation. Steam servers or Reborn servers overall require Source SDK Base 2007 because FiveM.exe (Five Reborn) runs with Source SDK. Five Reborn will sometimes run as ‘Source SDK Base 2007’ on Steam (I witnessed it with my friends) which raised my suspicion, then I saw kiilp made a post about something with Source SDK which confirmed it. The issue seems to rise when those who do not have GTA 5 purchased via Steam (or they just plain out don’t have Source SDK Base installed) try to use Five Reborn. The fix is just two easy steps.
It is not located in the Steam Store, it will be under Steam Tools. In the Steam client, click ‘LIBRARY’ then look for 'TOOLS" in the drop down list and click on that. Source SDK will be there.
Still happenning to me, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. I have to restart the server AND the game and clear both caches for it to work on the first time
Edit : Mine says invalid Ticket tho
Edit2 : I fixed it by connecting on a friend’s steam account that owns the game on steam instead. I removed %AppData%/Roaming/CitizenFX folder before doing that
This is dumb I spent over 5 GB trying to download fivem play it for a few days and apparently u have to download another 2.2 GB for it to work that just great.
