Thankful for any help as i am new to FiveM

Hey, I see you haven’t used the technical support template. Would be great if you could fill it real quick in order to help us help you.

This would be normal, as FiveM checks to see if your GTAV installation is in the default locations. If it is, then it won’t ask you where it’s downloaded

EDIT: Try running GTAV and seeing if you have an update. It should automatically install any missing files/updates needed!

Have you changed anything in the GTA root folder with OpenIV, apart from the “mods” folder?

No, have not even touched the mod folder

Okay, I’ve had the same problem, all I did was verifying my files through steam.

Maybe try and follow this, as it says to.

Already tried number four on that list, didnt fix anything

I am not using steam

Is your game fully updated? Have you actually bought GTA V? Do you have any mods installed? Can you play regular GTA:Online?

I dont have any mods, i can play and have the latest update

Okay, I don’t know what the problem is then. But I’ll recommend you fill out the support template.

Ill make a new thread tomorow with full information instead i suppose, thx for all the help anyways

Don’t make another topic, just edit this one.

Don’t make a new thread, just post it on this one. There’s no need for a new one.

Ive updated the thread

fill in everything on the support template.

I have done that!:grinning:

FOLLOW TO FIX

1: Go to your GTAV Main Directory.
2: Go to GTAVLauncher and right click it.
3: Click Create Shortcut (If the shortcut dont go to the Desktop drag and drop it onto the Desktop)
4: Right click the shortcut on the Desktop and click the “PROPERTIES” tab
5: It should come up with a Shortcut Properties tab and if it does under “Target:” all you have to do is click it and go to the end of the writing and then press space and type -verify
6: Now launch the shortcut you just made and it should verify files
7: If it has files missing it will then download the missing files if not then delete that shortcut and launch GTA V through the main shortcut that was created in the first instillation of the game
8: If it has a update it will then update and all you do after the update is relaunch FiveM.

Thanks, but i have already tried this
