Important parts

What is the issue you’re having? FiveM isn’t showing up anywhere in my files folder. Bought an old PC/Monitor so not sure how to use it.

What are you trying to do? Download FiveM

What have you tried already to fix the issue? Installing and re-installing

What did you do to get this issue? Not sure. I have a graphics card and everything as I downloaded SIMS 4 off of Stream today. (12/22/2024)

The way you explained this is not what your actual issue appears to be, you have FiveM downloaded it just does not know where your GTAV.exe file is, you need to locate where your GTA5 is installed and point the FiveM client to the GTA5.exe

Yes, you do need to buy GTA5 in order to play FiveM, FiveM itself is free not the game.

I dont get what the issue is here, at all. Is FiveM installed on your system and does it work fine?

You can buy GTA5 from wherever you would like, as long as its a legal copy of the game.

The install path will depend on where you buy it from and where you choose to install your games.
