Did you try to disable/uninstall your Anti-virus?
NO THIS HAS NOT BEEN THE ISSUE AND THAT WOULD MAKE IT UNABLE TO START AT ALL.
Also add what you already tried so far.
I HAVE REINSTALLED GTA V ONE TIME AND FIVEM ATLEAST 4-6 TIMES OVER THE LAST 2 WEEKS, I HAVE TRIED GOOGLE FOR ANSWERS BUT i CAN’T FIND ANY. THIS OCCURED AFTER INSTALLING AN UPDATE I THINK, I DO NOT REMEMBER WHICH BUT THIS IS SOMETHING I CAN’T FIGGURE OUT MYSELF.
that’s not the problem either… that has been there since way before I started playing FiveM and has not caused any issues. also for some reason that thing appears even after removing it so yeah… as I said… not the issue…
“that’s not the problem either…”
You do know that we’ve had multiple people with the same exact issue you have, who have had ReShade installed. You want to know what solved it for them?
CitizenFX.log file NO LOG CUS THE FILES HAVE BEEN DELETED MULTIPLE TIMES
Please reinstall FiveM (after making sure you have a CLEAN/Verified GTAV installation), start the game and once the issue occurs exit. Then please upload the log file.
It’s best to start with a clean GTAV installation so you know for sure that it’s not GTA interfering with anything.
Your issue sounds like the “blue screen” issue that has since evolved into sometimes being a yellow or green screen. This is due to a bug within the CEF that is responsible for drawing all UI elements onto the screen including NUI (in-game chat, menus etc). FiveM is waiting for the CEF fix to be committed. Until then, please be patient. More info Menu UI rendering problem - #5 by Kuma
