Additional comments

I downloaded the Client and GTA V last night and when I launched the FiveM launcher, it went through the prompts but nothing happened; the game just wont load.

Since then I have tried every number of way to get the program to work from troubleshooting guides on the website docs, the forums here, Youtube & Reddit but nothing seems to work to make the program
run as it should.

Heck, I even put the FiveM program into the Steam GTAV Folder and ran it and nothing helped.

I have even done the uninstall and reinstall both troubleshoot multiple times to where I cant even count now in the past 12 hours of how many times Ive tried it.

Thanks to anyone for any help they can provide!

Have you tried running the game and doing the first prologue? also update windows to the latest version and your drivers.

Also, seeing how it seems to happen after the audio devices load try disabling any un-used audio devices.

Thank you Painwithin for responding.

Yes, I have ran the game and moved within the game and GTA:Online itself. Unless I start a new game, I wont be able to do the Proglogue again.

Weird, thought my windows was the latest one as thats my updater set me at. I will go through the Windows website to get the latest version if I can. But all my other drivers are up to date as I updated them in hopes that was the problem.

As for the audio there is no other audio devices enabled besides my Realtek® Audio as my default device, so its weird that its stopping after that point.

Did you fix it ive been having the same problem and Each time I try and load fivem is says exception unhandled

Sebas11, I havent fixed it yet. Im currently going through the Windows 10 Update Assistant in attempt to update my Win 10 to the latest version to see if thats the problem.

Ok thx for replying let me know if that works because I haven’t been able to play Fivem for a week now.

Is there any way you can help me each time I try and open Fivem is says Exception unhandled I can provide screenshot if you need me to.

it would be better if you make your own topic and fill out the support template.

I’m having a very similar issue. Do you have to manually go into Task Manager and close MULTIPLE different FiveM tasks and FiveM Chromium subprocess tasks just to be able to attempt to run it again?

Yes at the time, I did.

I managed to finally get FiveM to work by updating to 20H2 of Win 10, and updating all possible drivers. All of this after a OS reset but hopefully others wont have to do that.
