Close it in task manager and then make sure in the sub processing below that it is closed there sometime it opens multiple instances then clear your fivem cache file that should fix it
I updated my Rockstar launcher plus cleared my cache multiple times, still have the same issue it does however open the Rockstar launcher for a split second whenever I open Fivem after the loading bars and what not.
I have same issue, after the update today, FiveM wont open anymore, it just show a rockstar launcher for like a split second and poof nothing happen anymore. Cleaned cache so many times even do a clean install of FiveM so many times still same issue. I even tried to disable steam and anti virus in some trials no luck.
I am using Windows 7 and my GTA 5 is not linked to steam due to region issue so I got GTA 5 through Rockstar Launcher. I dont think it is GTA 5 issue since I can still play the story mode with no issue.
Oh thats why sad life for a lot of players i think. I will not be at home for 8 week’s and i took my laptop with windows 7, waiting for fix to enjoy fivem. Thank You for explaining this.
I have windows 10 and this is happening to me as well. I click on FiveM desktop shortcut, the client loading pop-up begin loading, about 50%-75% of the bar filling up, it just disappears. It pops up on task manager for like a whole second then disappears as well.
Also it is useless to reinstall when issues are happening if you changed nothing in your folders, because the issue is generally not coming from you but because of updates.
The best way is to wait a bit, that more updates show up, and if after a few updates, there is still an issue, you can start cleaning and reinstalling stuff. I’m still running on my FiveReborn folder with my originals mods, and only did the updates.
