Important parts

What is the issue you’re having?
After successfully running FiveM today and on previous days, the application refuses to load. It gets to the “We’re getting there” loading screen and then the loading screen closes with no error message or anything. When I check Task Manager I see multiple FiveM processes running (including one with the Rockstar Launcher symbol) in the background applications area. It doesn’t matter how much time I let pass, the game just won’t launch at all.

What are you trying to do?
I’m trying to play FiveM

What have you tried already to fix the issue?
I’ve restarted my PC multiple times (sometimes that fixes it), I uninstalled FiveM and reinstralled it, but I still keep getting this issue

Error screenshot (if any): FiveM won’t generate any error or crashes

What did you do to get this issue? Nothing that I know of

What server did you get this issue on? Be specific and name some, ‘all of them’ by itself isn’t useful!
This happens before I can even connect to any servers

Additional comments

FiveM worked perfectly fine this afternoon when I first launched it. I was able to successfully connect to a server and go about my usual business. The issue happened after I closed it and tried to relaunch it at a later time where it just refuses to load up. Aside from what I described above, I have no clue why FiveM is doing this and just stays stuck running in the background

I found the solution: Disable windows defender and your antivirus
You should solve the problem!
In case just unistall your antivirus, play with FiveM and reinstall your antivirus again

I get the same problem and I can’t figure out why. I even tried reinstalling still does the same. GTA by itself opens just fine. But fiveM on the other handle just doesn’t want to launch even if it shows it running in task manager.

Yeah anti-virus and Windows Firewall were the source of the problem. Has to add FiveM and all related processes to the exclusions list.
