Also add what you already tried so far.

Ive tried putting FiveM in the GTA root folder and tried creating its own folder inside gta root folder. Ive rebooted the system. Did a steam file integrity check. Im lost at what to do. Ive tried everything I can think of and nothing works.

Edit 1: Forgot to mention that I had FiveM installed and working before, even at that pathfile I have it at now. I havent played for a while due to moving so everything was out dated. Failed to update so I tired uninstalling it and retrying. Still failed so Im lost now :frowning:

Nonono, you can run FiveM in literally any folder on your computer other than in your GTA folder, move it out of that folder and try again :mascot:

Its not in the GTA folder anymore. The file path I have stated in the post is the current location. I still have these issues in any location I put it

Do you have the latest Visual C++ installed?

Seemingly downloading the R* update ends up with a corrupted file, are you on a wireless connection or a wired one?

At work currently, but will check in the morning.

Its wireless right now. I actually ordered an ethernet cable today which should be here tomorrow or the next. But that’s kinda what I suspect even tho steam says all files are valid.

installed visual c++, newest version, still no luck. thanks tho.

Alrighty, finally got the ethernet routed through the house and that seemed to be it, thanks for pointing that out.
