ugh still like fps drops when i go in server all seems good like 70 fps but when i hop in car and start driving i start to get 12 fps 7 and lower when i got my gpu and went fivem all was fine fps was good after few months i started getting these type of problems
Check Fivem.exe process in task manager if it use 100% cpu, if it does then the problem is that, set fivem as high priority process in the details tab.
Close Fivem, open nVidia control panel and go to “manage 3d settings”, search for "
vertical synchronization" and set it as “active”.
Open Fivem and the problem should be gone, if not check your framerate matches your monitor refresh rate.
In my tests I checked that if there is no fps limit the cpu is always at 100% while the gpu is at 46%. The moment I set an fps cap and turned on vertical sync this problem disappeared.
My config is:
i5 4570
gtx 770
16gb ram
I have this big issue for 1 year, continue shuttering and fps drops for no reasons.
Hope it can help you!
my cpu is at 100% sometimes goes to like 80-90% and gpu 20-30% but i did everything u said nothing helped Edited: i kinda fixed i installed default graphics but i still get that small fps drops, but when i play like gta 5 online i get good fps with high very high graphics.
Edit: so I decided to reset my pc fully because I kinda didn’t find any fix gonna take while but thanks for help anyways.
