having the same issue and have not found a fix yet.
the only thing I changed was switched from avast! endpoint protection suite plus antivirus to kaspersky labs endpoint security antivirus since it worked yesterday before the update happened yesterday.

Found the Solution(for me at least) and possibly fivem developers can fix this
It appears Kaspersky Labs Endpoint Security Antivirus doesn’t like FiveM trying to somehow use mumble to initialize audio capture device, as when Kaspersky is on, it says failed to start audio capture device - IAudioClient
When Kaspersky is off, it doesn’t care and it works.

right click the volume icon on the bottom right of windows and press recording devices. MAKE SURE the recording device you have selected is the one that matches up with FiveM. ALSO, disable any recording device that may be active and that you are not using.

I have tried both of yours ideas, but I’m still unable to talk in game chat, i am using teamspeak at the same time and one im on the server for about 5 minutes, my audio for teamspeak cuts out

Try turning the Mic Off on Settings then turning it back on.

If thats a fail
Try turning off Mic on the section then talk, some servers have something that Mic Blocks.
