Did you try to delete caches.xml and try again? No.

System specifications I forgot but I run GTA perfectly fine.
What did you do to get this issue? On downloading FiveM today.
What server did you get this issue on? None.

Did you try to disable/uninstall your Anti-virus? Yes its disabled.

Also add what you already tried so far.
I tried reinstalling both FiveM and GTA V.
I tried deleting the folders.(I reinstalled them)
I tried disabling Windows defender.

I do have some error code, Assertaion failed! Program: C:\Users\PC\Desktop\FiveM(6). exe File: c:\gl\builds\edf06b9b\cfx\fivem\c…\instal…ion.cpp Line:101 Expression: res < = 1
And also: LZMA decoding erro 9 in C:\Users\PC\Desktop\FiveM.app\bin/libced.dll.

I got the same thing for me when I tried to update FiveM

u needa reinstall gta and fivem

Why would that even be the only solution to fix this? This should be last resort only, unless you deliberately fucked all gta files.

Already tried it, uninstalling and reinstalling GTA V and FiveM.

Exactly my point; 9/10 times it doesn’t even fix any problem at all.

Is there any way we can fix this or do we have to wait for the devs to take note of it and wait for an update?
