Fivem opens, can hear music, but the window itself doesn't pop up. No error message or crash

What is the issue you’re having?

When clicking the FiveM desktop icon, it launches seemingly normal. FiveM’s loading box starts with “We’re getting there” (This mini window does show for me, and the icon shows on my taskbar and task manager. I can hear the FiveM music as if the window showing is on my screen.

When the application is fully launched, there are 3 FiveM icons that show on my taskbar. One labeled "FiveM by Cfx.re, another “DrawPerf”, and the last one on a separate window “MiniCon”. It does not crash, and there are no error messages. The only FiveM window I can actually see visibly on my screen is the “DrawPerf” one that is a small rectangular box with my FPS and Ping (which I remember setting up in the F8 console a while back.)

What have you tried already to fix the issue?

  • I have three monitors, so I checked all three to see if the FiveM window had been hiding behind any open windows I had, or was possibly on a different monitor.
  • I checked to see if it was on a different desktop- it wasn’t.
  • I found a topic that seemed to help another person → [Solution] Forcing FiveM/RedM to use your discrete GPU | Infinite Loading Fix … it did not work for me.
  • I cleared my cache (cache, server-cache, server-cache-priv) folders, then relaunched FiveM. No workie
  • I uninstalled FiveM from my PC, then reinstalled it again, twice. Both times it did not fix it/ I had the same exact issue.
  • Validated my GTA 5 files on Steam.
  • Restarted my PC.
  • Fully shut down my PC then turned it back on to try again.
  • Between each step (where necessary), I fully close out FiveM from task manager

Additional comments

I successfully ran FiveM on my PC a few days ago, and since then didn’t change a single thing (updates, altered FiveM/GTA5 files). I am not sure what could be the issue :frowning:
