I am facing a critical issue with FiveM where the client does not launch at all. Specifically, the DigitalEntitlements files disappear automatically within 1 second of attempting to start FiveM.
Server Played On:
- None (FiveM does not launch, so I cannot join any server)
Important Background Information:
- GTA V was previously installed via Epic Games
- My Epic Games account was lost, so I switched to GTA V on Steam
- After switching from Epic Games to Steam, this issue started
- The issue has been happening since around August 2025
- FiveM was last installed on 25 November 2025
What happened:
When I try to launch FiveM, multiple errors appear. Almost immediately (within ~1 second), the DigitalEntitlements files are deleted or disappear, causing FiveM to fail during startup.
What I did before the issue happened:
- Installed GTA V via Steam
- Installed FiveM
- Tried launching FiveM normally
- DigitalEntitlements files disappear instantly
Steps to Reproduce:
- Install GTA V from Steam
- Install FiveM
- Launch FiveM
- Within 1 second, DigitalEntitlements files disappear
- FiveM does not start
Can I reproduce the issue?
- Yes, it happens every time
Additional Information:
- Operating System: Windows 11
- GTA V version: Steam
- FiveM version: Installed on 25 November 2025
- Affected files: DigitalEntitlements
- Errors: Multiple / inconsistent
- Issue persists after reinstalling FiveM
This issue completely prevents me from using FiveM. Any help or guidance would be appreciated.
