Hi there guys, I’m thinking of making a mobile app where fiveM server owners can put their server on. This way their players can see the server status, queue and player count. But not only this I want to do much more with it. With additional setup the user can also see a lot of information about himself on the app. I made a quick mockup for one of my own servers I’m working on and what will all be possible to achieve.
But this is by far not the only thing I want to add. I am also thinking about implementing systems like money transfer and reading chat into it.
My question is then if there are any people that would use it. Is there an audience for it?
Some more things about the project:
The tech stack I will use for it is NextJS and react native for the app. Then I will be using a database (I’m not sure which one yet). The database will be different from the fiveM server database to make it more secure. People will be able to host the app and database by themself or they can contact me to put their server on the global app.
Then pricing will be pretty easy, You pay for the amount you use. I don’t need any money for the script and app itself but I will only ask a fee if I need to host it because it also costs me money (initial fees for IOS, server costs). For the people that don’t want to set it up themself I might charge a bit to install it and setup but it really depends on the feature set you pick.
So yes I also want to make it pretty modular that you can select which components you want enabled or not. For example if your server doesn’t have job ranks and xp then you can disable that part.
Let me know what you guys think of this idea
