This is more of a helping thing than a current issue thing. I’ve already fixed the issue but have seen multiple forms regarding it.
If you are running with the Nvidia graphics card and have updated your Nvidia driver, your microphone will most likely stop working in GTA 5 and FiveM. To fix the issue you are going to have to rollback the driver update within your device management. Enter the “Display Adapter” option and right click on your Nvidia graphics card. Go into the properties and you will see an option to rollback the driver update. You are also going to need to uninstall the USBC driver in the control panel. Not sure if it is both of these that fixes it or just the uninstalling of the driver. Problem Solved!! I’ve been trying to fix it for 6 hours on and off. Hope this helps.
Also add what you already tried so far.
UPDATE: So I thought I found a fix for it, but turns out my microphone still doesn’t work in game. The voice level in the settings when push to talk is off moves, but when push to talk is on the volume bar no longer moves.
Update 2(FIXED): So I realised it was the microphone sensitivity that was messing everything up, microphone sensitivity seems to be used when push to talk is active, not when push to talk is inactive.
