I am experiencing low FPS and stuttering issues. I play on low population servers with FPS ranging from 60 frames to the 30s and 20s when navigating the city. I cannot achieve consistent FPS. All my settings are set to low, yet I see people with worse setups than mine getting better FPS. Is there anything I can do besides buying a new PC?
What have you tried already to fix the issue?
I have tried using FPS booster packs from YouTube, specifically the ones where you replace the citizen files, but I never see any changes in-game, either graphically or performance-wise. I have done all the basic cache cleanses and PC optimization tips I could find for gaming.
I can play normal GTA Online effortlessly with max settings, but FiveM runs poorly; it is still playable but not fully enjoyable at 30-40 FPS. I check my Task Manager and see that my CPU and RAM are not fully utilized. RAM usage is around 60-70%, and CPU usage is around 30-40%, even with extra tabs open. My GPU usage fluctuates between 40-80%.
What server did you get this issue on?
Deadly LA is where im playing currently but this problem applies to any server in general

That’s fairly normal on servers with a good deal of custom assets. Answer the following - is your GTAV / FiveM installed on a HDD, or an SSD of any kind?
Would I need both GTA V and FiveM files on the SSD? I have a 250GB SSD that came with my PC and a 1TB hard drive that I bought separately. Can I just put the FiveM files onto the SSD? I have very limited space on the SSD that came with the PC, so I can’t place both GTA V and FiveM on it at the moment.
